Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Three wild go-go dancers, Varla (Tura Satana), Rosie (Haji) and Billie (Lori Williams), out seeking thrills in the desert, encounter a young couple, Tommy and Linda, and after killing Tommy (Ray Barlow), they take Linda (Susan Bernard) hostage. Stopping for gas, they see a wheelchair-bound old man (Stuart Lancaster) being aided by his muscular, dim-witted son, charmingly dubbed “The Vegetable” (Denis Busch), and when the gas station attendant tells them that the old man received a large cash settlement as a result of his accident which he keeps hidden somewhere on his property they hatch a plan to steal the money.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): As the trio arrive at the old man’s house he is sitting at the kitchen table along with “The Vegetable” who is playing with a gray and white tuxedo kitten, while his other son, Kirk (Paul Trinka), stands beside them holding a book.
Kirk moves off and the old man starts talking to his younger son . . .
. . . whose attention remains with the kitten.
He continues to play with the kitty throughout the conversation.
Final Mewsings: Young men are easily distracted by pussies.
