Synopsis: The on-again off-again relationship between NBA referee Nicky (Billy Crystal) and airline official Ellen (Debra Winger).

Purr Blurs: One of the stories recalled by the couples’ friends is when Ellen accidentally caught a pigeon on a mouse glue trap and rushed it to a veterinarian’s office. On the way the bird gets spooked in the car and ends up tangled in Ellen’s hair. When she enters the office with the pigeon stuck to her head, the waiting room is full of pets and their owners, including two ginger tabby cats.

There is also a photo of a tabby cat on the wall.

Final Mewsings: Cats know glue traps are no way to catch birds.
