Directed by: Clint Eastwood
Synopsis: Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) is an aggravated Korean War veteran without much love for anyone or anything in the world apart from his classic 1972 car, the titular model. After catching the neighbor boy, Thao (Bee Vang), trying to steal the car while under pressure from a gang, Walt sets out to reform the kid.
Purr Blur: Late in the film Thao is attacked and injured by the gang members. Walt pays a visit to their residence and beats one of the members mercilessly on the front lawn. During the beat down a ginger tabby cat appears from nowhere and takes off across the grass with a Poor Cat Screech.
Final Mewsings: Cats are smart enough to stay out of Clint Eastwood’s way!
Many thanks to Mark Murton for letting me know about the cat in this film.
