Original Air Date: May 10, 1989
Directed by: Alan Rosen
Synopsis: As hall monitor, Arvid (Dan Frischman) is threatened by a bully who tells him to meet him in the hallway at exactly twelve o’clock, launching a parody of High Noon in Arvid’s mind.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In the parody, Arvid is the sheriff and Mr. Moore (Howard Hesseman) is the drunken former sheriff who is thrown into the jail’s cell. After everyone runs away in fright, Moore is lying on a bunk in the cell singing with a longhair white cat on his chest.
Moments later when Arvid decides he will round up a posse, Mr. Moore holds the cat through the bars and says, “I don’t know what good she’ll do but here’s ol’ Bootsy.” I said “posse” Arvid clarifies.
Final Mewsings: Never turn down a cat when it is offered to you.
