Directed by: Ken Annakin

This review contains a slight Kitty Carnage Warning!

Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: The Huggett family (who first appeared in the film Holiday Camp) deal with several issues at home, including the installation of a new telephone and the arrival of Ethel’s (Kathleen Harrison) femme fatale cousin Diana (Diana Dors).

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): The family is having breakfast at the beginning of the film. The girls are not thrilled with eating the breakfast cereal, even though their father (Jack Warner) works at the company. After everyone leaves, Mrs. Huggett scrapes together the leavings and calls for “Puss”. A small black kitten with white paws and muzzle appears, sniffs at the bowl but also doesn’t eat the cereal.

When the telephone men arrive to install the new phone, Mrs. Huggett leads them out back to her husband’s workroom. As she opens the door, the kitten scurries outside.

The kitten is also barely seen in the front hallway when the youngest Huggett girl, Pet (Petula Clark) comes home.

Slight Kitty Carnage Warning! Some of the family members leave in the middle of the night to get a spot to watch the Royal Wedding. As they exit the house, Mrs. Huggett realizes that Pet is carrying the cat. She quickly grabs the cat by the scruff and lowers it roughly to the ground, insisting the cat cannot come with them.
