Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Stormy Tornado (Betty Grable) and Curly Flagg (Sheree North) are two San Francisco showgirls who witness the shooting murder of another showgirl, flee the city, and hide out at a small college fraternity house. They are followed by the killer and a policeman. Two fraternity members, Wedge Wedgewood (Bob Cummings) and Eddie Jones (Tommy Noonan), help to hide Stormy and Curly from college officials and the killer, and become romantically involved with them.
Kitty Cameos: Toby Marshall (Orson Bean), an expelled former student, lives in the fraternity house basement with two black cats and (presumably their) tuxedo kittens. The first time we see him in the basement he lifts a black cat from the bed then proceeds to move the five black and white kittens off so he can go to sleep.
The second time he is standing away from the bed holding a kitten while the other cats and kittens are on the bed.
The third time Toby races down to his room and leaps into the bed and pulls the covers over his head. There is a loud, short screech and he pushes the covers down to remove one of the tuxedo kittens before hiding again.
Finally he is called to the window and has to get up, disturbing the two black adult cats who are now lying on the covers.
