Synopsis: Major Patrick Leigh Fermor (Dirk Bogarde) heads up a team of Crete rebels who plan to kidnap a German officer and smuggle him to Cairo.

Purr Blur: When Fermor comes down from the hills to the town to set the plan in motion, he heads to a dentist office for a meeting. In the background a cat appears to be zigzagging back and forth across the road.
