Synopsis: Two children in different parts of the world are terrorized by visitations from a menacing creature known as Hollowface.
Kitty Cameos: At the start of the movie a young boy named Juan (Izán Corchero) living in Madrid creates a scary monster story with his mother. As she is putting him to bed, he asks her to leave the window open so his cat Meow may come inside. Later he hears the ginger tabby meowing outside and goes to the window to see the kitty is on some scaffolding across the courtyard.
Juam ends up climbing outside on the scaffolding to retrieve Meow. The cat, however, seems nervous about an approaching figuring climbing up towards them.
Meanwhile, in London, a teenage girl named Mia (Ella Purnell) is visiting a country estate and spots a grey and white cat named Winnie jumping over a wall and running into the woods.
She follows the cat who has climbed a tree.
As Mia climbs up after Winnie, the cat pokes her nose into a hole in the tree’s trunk then quickly retreats.
