Synopsis: A wealthy, young eccentric commits suicide by jumping off a balcony after discovering his girlfriend Felicity (Annabel Mullion) with someone else, but three weeks later the same man is seemingly witnessed strangling his ex-girlfriend in her house. Jonathan (Alan Davies) needs all his skills to solve the mystery.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Alone at the house she shares with best friend Clare (Jessica Lloyd), Felicity is perturbed to find one of the stockings she has just spread on the radiator is missing. Investigating she discovers a white kitten with black markings playing with it in the kitchen.

Relieved, she picks up the cat, but then shoos it out into the night.

Outside, the kitten runs past the feet of someone standing in the dark. The kitten isn’t seen again so clearly doesn’t live at the house and yet the house is in the middle of nowhere.
