Josephine and Men (1955)

Directed by: Roy Boulting

Synopsis: Josephine (Glynis Johns) is a woman attracted to men who are underdogs and in need of her nurturing nature.

Kitty Cameos: At the beginning of the film Josephine’s uncle (Jack Buchanan) begins to tell her story, starting with her childhood. She is seen pushing a baby pram with two cats inside dressed in knitted doll clothes, including bonnets. Her uncle explains that she has a tendency to care for stray animals.

The cats don’t seem particularly thrilled with this situation and the black cat even takes a nip toward the young actress!

Final Mewsings: Stray cats would rather remain stray than be saved in this manner.
