Synopsis: A woman goes out fishing and finds a clowder of cats waiting in the rain for her catch.

Cartoon Cats: One of the cats is living in the woman’s cottage and tries to get out when she goes fishing. She locks the cat in but it escapes.

The cat arrives on the bank of the river and watches the woman fishing.

The woman looks over to find a group of cats on the riverbank watching and waiting.

The cats dream of the fish she is going to catch and even set up a table for the meal.

The woman is having no luck when a fish grabs her line and pulls her into the water. She cries for help and the cats leap into the water to save her.

Having made it out of the water, the woman then rescues the cats.

She takes them back to her cottage and they all dry off and have a warm meal before the kitties fall asleep in this very sweet animated film from Russia.

Final Mewsings: Cats love women who fish.
