Synopsis: Four brothers with varying relationships live, fight and love in the small island fishing village of Kumbalangi, India.
Kitty Cameo: At the beginning of the film, the youngest brother Franky (Mathew Thomas) returns home to the tiny shack where he has grown up with his siblings. A tabby and white cat is on the table when Franky enters then jumps down.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): The location of the shack is noted as a dumping spot, which includes abandoned cats and dogs. During the opening theme song, Franky finds two kittens who have been dumped in a bag and cuddles with them.
This scene with Franky and the abandoned kittens is included in the official music video for the song Cherathukal.
Another scene finds Franky washing out a cup with an orange and white tabby kitten watching in the background.
