Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Jack Flowers (Ben Gazzara) is an American expatriate building a business of prostitution in Singapore, much to the annoyance of local hoods.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In what appears to be an impromptu and possibly unscripted scene, Jack is sitting at a desk in a military complex with a Manx calico cat on his desk.

“Tell the truth,” Jack says to the cat, “Somebody bit it off in a fit of passion.”

He pets the cat’s behind and adds, “You can level with me. I won’t tell anybody.”

The cat moves away and jumps down off the desk. “No, huh? Born that way,” Jack surmises.
