Synopsis: Sword and sandal epic in which a Roman named Curridio (Ettore Manni) becomes intrigued by the mystery that is Cleopatra (Linda Cristal) while trying to convince his friend Marc Anthony (Georges Marchal) to reconsider some questionable decisions based on the latter’s love for the Egyptian queen.

Purr Blur: Late in the film a scene with Cleopatra includes several female attendants, one of whom is holding a Siamese cat.

Final Mewsings: Cats are smart not to become enamored of any person.
