Synopsis: Bertrand Morane (Charles Denner) is a man with an unusual fascination for the opposite sex who decides to chronicle his romantic encounters in writing.

The cat is seen sitting in her apartment in a basket on a chair later in the same scene.

Finally in true Truffaut fashion a black cat is shown eating from a tray of food placed outside a hotel room, placed there by the female half of a romantic couple (we won’t spoil who!)

Final Mewsings: Cats eat well off abandoned food trays in Truffaut films.
