Synopsis: Thomas Vlassenroot (Alain Delon) deserts the French Foreign Legion in Algiers and gets caught up in a terrorist kidnapping plot.

Purr Blurs: As Thomas waits on the street for the kidnapping to take place a car the with intended victim appears. What seem to be two black cats are sitting on the sidewalk at the end of the street.

There may even be a third black cat, as something black barely comes into view from one doorway before the camera pans away.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t get involved.
