Synopsis: A woman named Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) and a guy named Gus (Paul Rust) suffer through difficult breakups in the first episode of this Netflix series.
Kitty Cameo: Mickey owns an orange and white tabby cat named Grandpa who is seen in bed with her at the beginning of the episode.
Grandpa shows up again when Mickey is interviewing Bertie (Claudia O’Doherty) as a potential new roommate. Grandpa jumps up on a nearby table and Mickey scolds the cat and puts him back on the floor. Bertie asks its name and Mickey replies, “I named him Grandpa because he’s the reincarnation of my grandpa.”
