Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A teenaged girl named Mouchette (Nadine Nortier) suffers indignity at the hands of her family and neighbors.
Kitty Cameo: Near the end of the movie, Mouchette is called into the home of an elderly, death-obsessed rich woman who condescends to Mouchette and offer mourning clothes and a shroud. As the woman approaches her bed, a tabby cat is crouched there.

The cat jumps off the bed as the woman draws near.

Final Mewsings: Even the cat didn’t want to be around this woman!
