Synopsis: Star baseball pitcher Tommy “Mr. Dynamite” Thornton (Lloyd Nolan) gets caught up in murder and intrigue when he falls for the beautiful Vicki Martin (Irene Hervey), not knowing she is embroiled in a wartime spy mission.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): While hiding out from the police, Tommy and Vicki sneak around the night time streets of Brooklyn. In a dark doorway, a white cat approaches a bottle of milk.

Tommy’s hand reaches out from nowhere and snatches the bottle away from the kitty.

Final Mewsings: Tommy was just trying to save the cat from tummy troubles.
