Synopsis: Mr. Moto (Peter Lorre) tries to learn the details of a plot in which saboteurs hope to attack a French and British joint fleet as it passes through the Suez Canal.

Kitty Cameo: Mr. Moto’s faithful black cat companion Chunkina returns in this film, living in the room behind the antique shop which Mr. Moto is using as his cover in Port Said. Chunkina is first seen sitting on a table.

Later Chunkina is on the desk where Mr. Moto is working.

After Mr. Moto gets up to receive a message at the door, he returns to find Chunkina sitting in his chair.

Mr. Moto picks up Chunkina by the scruff and deposits the cat back on the desk.
