Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Maggie (Marie Dressler) and Lizzie (Polly Moran) are friends turned rival mothers-in-law when Lizzie accidentally starts a run on Maggie’s family bank.
Purr Blur: After taking all of her money out of the bank, Lizzie is warned by Maggie about how much safer her money is in the vault and insinuates someone will likely steal it. Lizzie goes outside and is scared of every person she meets. She is already reaching a frenzy of fear when a black cat darts out and crosses her path.
In the full footage the cat starts to appear ever so slightly and withdraws before darting out.
Final Mewsings: People need to learn that black cats portend good luck!
