Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains a spoiler for this film!
Synopsis: Father Mayii (Leslie Nielsen) has his hands full when the devil repossesses a woman in this parody of The Exorcist.
Kitty Cameo: Television evangelist Ernest Weller (Ned Beatty) and his wife Fanny Ray Weller (Lana Schwab) (spoofs of Rev. Baker and his wife Tammy Faye) agree to confront the devil during a live television broadcast. They arrive at the event in a limousine. Up until now, Fanny Ray has always carried a little dog around with her, but this time she carries a white long-haired cat.
Some eager fans even manage to pet the cat as the couple walk down the red carpet.
Called up to talk to the crowd, Fanny Ray asks everyone to say hello to her cat Kit Kat, which the audience does.
Once inside their dressing rooms, Fanny Ray thinks her ensemble is not right for her song.
She walks to a closet which is filled with toy dogs hanging up in little slings. She places Kit Kat in a box and picks out a Chihuahua instead. Kit Kat can be seen climbing out of the box as Fanny Ray exits the closet.
Final Mewsings: Cats and dogs are not accessories!
