Synopsis: Disney’s retelling of the classic story about the generous outlaw as acted by a cast of anthropomorphic animals.

Cartoon Cat: During the musical number The Phony King of England, the film’s only cat appears, playing a recorder made out of a branch.

The cat character does not appear in any other scene besides this one.

While not an exact copy of earlier animation (like several shots in Robin Hood which borrowed from previous Disney films) the style and movements of the cat musician were most certainly based on Scat Cat from The Aristo-Cats.
