Synopsis: One of the Joe McDoakes Behind the Eight Ball series finds Joe (George O’Hanlon) trying to learn the piano.

Kitty Cameo: While Joe is learning to play, several people come and go such as the milkman and the maid, all of whom are able to play the piano easily. Alone at last, Joe sits down to practice but hears a meow. After it happens again, he investigates and finds a small tabby and white kitten inside the instrument.

Setting the cat down on the keyboard, the cat walks down the keys playing a tuneful finale.
