Synopsis: Lionel Essrog (Edward Norton) is a private detective with Tourette’s trying to figure out who killed his boss.

Lionel pets the cat and then yells “If!”, one of his Tourette ticks. The cat runs away at the sound.

Later Lionel is seen holding the cat lovingly on his lap.

The cat is then beside Lionel’s chair. Sadly Lionel is not home enough for us to see any more of the kitty. In the novel, the cat’s name is Shelf but this is not specified in the film.
