Synopsis: Secret Service agent John Riggs (Don DeFore) is a noted T-man who is on the hunt for a ring of counterfeiters led by a mysterious boss. During his investigations he falls for sexy temptress Nora Craig (Andrea King) who seems to have connections to the gang he’s pursuing.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Late in the film Riggs, who is using another name, is in with the gang but they grow suspicious of some of his activity, so he is taken to their hideout to keep tabs on his whereabouts. Several of the gang members are playing cards, one of whom named Studs (Mickey Simpson) is toying with a bit of paper on a string, dangling it over the playful little tabby cat in his lap.

This continues as Riggs gets up and starts questioning Reggie (George Tobias), the man who knocked him out and brought him there. Riggs reaches over to the pet the kitty but Studs slaps his hand away.

Moments later the artist who created the money plates for the gang, Eugene Deane (Morris Ankrum), comes stumbling in after escaping custody despite being in failing health. Studs doesn’t budge from his seat even with all the commotion (well, of course not, he has a cat on his lap!)

Studs finally does get up and carries the cat to the doorway when Deane collapses just outside.

Gathered around the dying man, Riggs is in danger of being exposed if Deane remembers him from earlier. Everyone is present during the tense scene, including Studs who is still holding the cat.

Final Mewsings: Hands off my kitty!
