Steamboat Bill, Jr. (1928)

Directed by: Chas. F. Reisner

Synopsis: William Canfield (Ernest Torrence), a tough steamboat captain, is disappointed when his son, William Canfield Jr. (Buster Keaton) arrives looking anything but manly.

Kitty Cameo: Junior wants to sneak out to see his girl one night and is trying to get off the steamboat without being seen. He moves a plank from their boat to another and is just about to cross when he hears a noise and lays down on the plank, pretending to be asleep. It is the first (and last) mate (Tom Lewis) putting out a tabby cat. The man carries the cat onto the deck and tosses it ahead, then kicks after it, losing his boot in the process.
