Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Storks have stopped delivering babies and now deliver packages, but an accident causes one more baby to be produced which must be delivered despite all odds.
Cartoon Cats: Several cats make appearances throughout this film in small roles. The first is bowled over by a stork who is trying to deliver a baby and crash lands on a street. The cat is swept up and hangs on for dear life before getting knocked off with a poor cat screech.
At the end of the film, a girl named Tulip (voiced by Katie Crown) finally finds her family. After she rings the doorbell, the ginger-headed girl is surprised by a huge family, all with ginger hair. More and more family members appear and finally a grumpy ginger tabby cat steps out and sits down.
As the family encourages Junior the stork (voiced by Andy Samberg) to join them the cat is included in the hug but continues to look unhappy.
During the end credits, several scenarios of babies ruining perfect photo opportunities is shown. One baby is making faces at a cat through a window in a door.
Another baby is reaching for an unhappy gray and white tabby.
Poor Cat: There is also a poor cat screech when a father accidentally hurls a large hammer off into the distance.
Honorable mention must be made to the scene which shows a little boy playing spy with his dad. He has set up a bunch of toys with a bear as the main villain. The bear is holding a small toy cat in its lap in an obvious homage to Blofeld from the James Bond movies.
Final Mewsings: Cats are not always so grumpy.
