Synopsis: Reporter Mike Morrison (Robert Mitchum) is entrusted with getting vital information to the Greek resistance during World War II and finds himself the target of Nazis.

Kitty Cameos: In one scene a character named Tassos (Theodore Bikel) is hurrying through the streets. Three cats are sitting by some steps and scatter when he passes by.

Purr Blur: Later Morrison is waiting in a car. A cat appears briefly in the doorway behind him.

Final Mewsings: Cats prefer to steer clear of World Wars.
