Synopsis: Claude (Freddie Bartholomew) is a cultured boy who moves to New York City and tries to befriend the neighborhood toughs Buck (Jackie Cooper) and Gig (Mickey Rooney).

Purr Blurs: To help Gig raise money for his father’s tombstone, Claude suggests breaking into a house (he doesn’t tell the others that it is actually his house). As Buck and Gig keep watch, a black cat knocks a vase off a balcony. The crash makes the boys run.
