Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Peter Sandza (Kirk Douglas) is a government agent on the run when the clandestine organization decides to kidnap his son Robin (Andrew Stevens) who has paranormal powers.
Kitty Cameos: In one of the more lighthearted moments in the film Peter breaks into an apartment to escape his pursuers. The occupants, Mr. Nuckells (Gordon Jump) and his wife Vivian (Jane Lambert) are in the living room and kitchen respectively. An orange tabby cat is sitting on top of the television in the living room. There are also several cat knick-knacks on the shelves.
A long-haired calico Maine Coon sits on a shelf in the kitchen.
Mother Nuckells (Eleanor Merriam) then comes out of her bedroom with Peter holding a gun. He calmly asks Mr. Nuckells for some clothes and money. Peter ties up the Nuckell couple but hits it off with Mother Nuckells, who helps him to don a disguise. Later Peter calmly prepares to leave, enjoying conversation with Mother Nuckells as the couple remain tied up. The Maine Coon calico is still on the kitchen shelf.
The orange tabby lies calmly on the arm of the couch next to the tied couple.
