Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: The popular sketch comedy show returns with all new material including skits about a bizarre gender reveal, a man who adopts two cats who aren’t as sweet as he may think, and couples counseling.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): A man named Parker (Kevin McDonald) is sitting in his living room welcoming his two newly adopted calico Persian cats, Cookie and Mr. Sparks, to his home.
Parker jokes with the cats and ask if they want to play but the cats just give him a nasty look. “Keep eating!” Parker suggests.
That night Parker finds the railing to his stairway cut, a taperecorder with cat meows luring him to a spot where a knife drops down, as well as a crudely drawn master plan to kill him. Not to mention a doctored copy of his will crossing out his original beneficiary and changing it to Mr. Sparks. The cats are watching him make these discoveries.
Parker hires a private eye (Mark McKinney) and asks him to follow his cats. The private eye draws a sketch of the cats who are nearby. The cats don’t appear again but the sketch is definitely worth checking out.
Cat Credit: A brown tabby cat is among the home movie style footage under the end credits.
Final Mewsings: Felonious felines can be hazardous to your health.
