Synopsis: Rugged and leathery Arthur Bishop (Charles Bronson) works for the Mafia as a consummate and painstaking ‘mechanic,’ which is a gentle euphemism for efficient cold-blooded assassin, but taking on cocksure Steve McKenna (Jan-Michael Vincent), the footloose son of a recent victim (Keenan Wynn), as his apprentice may not pay the intended dividends.
Purr Blur: A perturbed orange tabby and his two Yorkshire Terrier companions are forced to abandon their agreeable spot on a white wrought iron chair when Bishop’s next target, a mob chieftain played by acclaimed stuntman J.N. Roberts, followed by Bishop (Bronson is doubled by Kim Kahana, another acclaimed stuntman), come charging through on motorcycles to upend a tranquil poolside party.

Final Mewsings: Bishop could learn a nice lesson about playing well with others if he followed the example of the cat and his Yorkie pals.
