Synopsis: The team investigates a series of murders which appear to be perpetrated by flocks of birds.
Cat Cattle Call: Near the end of the episode, Purdey (Joanna Lumley) finds herself being attacked by the birds which are responding to the playing of an evil man’s tune. She holds up a table to keep the birds away as they try to peck their way through. In the meantime, Steed (Patrick Macnee) and Gambit (Gareth Hunt) have arrived with baskets. Purdey is surprised when the birds stop attacking. Dropping the table, she is even more surprised to see countless cats.
Steed and Gambit had bought the cats to use against the killer birds.
