Synopsis: A group of unsuspecting people are tricked into visiting a Deep South town in which a gruesome centennial celebration is about to take place.

Kitty Cameo: During the opening credits, a group of boys run into frame. One of them is holding a black cat.

Kitty Carnage Warning! The boys are all holding nooses and the boy with the cat places his noose around the cat’s neck.

The cat is wearing a sign which reads, “Dam Yankee.” The boy proceeds to strangle the cat with the noose, although this action takes place just off screen.
