Starring:
Silvia Pinal, Francisco Rabal, Margarita Lozano
Directed by: Luis Buñuel

Synopsis: Before Viridiana (Silvia Pinal) takes her final vows and becomes a nun, she pays a visit to her uncle (Fernando Rey) who has been sponsoring her.  A tragedy then brings the uncle’s son, Jorge (Francisco Rabal), to the home while Viridiana attempts to help the local vagrants.

Kitty Cameo: In the middle of the film Jorge explores the attic of the home with the housekeeper Ramona (Margarita Lozano).  A cat is seen crawling amidst the myriad of stuff stored there as Jorge comments that there are likely rats.

At the end of the scene a rat is seen crawling on some fabric.  The cat pounces (or is rather thrown) into the scene and onto the rat, although it doesn’t look like the cat is seriously trying to catch the rodent.
