Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A hilarious mockumentary about a group of vampires living together in a flat in Wellington, New Zealand.
Purr Blur: One of the vampires, Vladislav (Jemaine Clement), has the ability to shape-shift into different animals, only it is mentioned that he is not as good at it as he used to be, not completely transforming. When their potential victim Nick (Cori Gonzalez-Macuer) is trying to escape the house, he passes a room where he hears a cat screeching. He looks over to see a black cat with Vladislav’s face yowling at him.
Although only appearing for this brief moment and with Jemaine Clement’s face superimposed, the black cat actor Sifty was mentioned in the final credits.
Final Mewsings: This CGI was kind of the opposite of Cats . . . and better!
