Synopsis: Newsreel footage of the lovely 101 year old Mrs. Helen Pearson of Cliftonville.

Reality Cat: Mrs. Pearsons pet is a tuxedo cat named Felix who, according to the narrator, “Has kept on walking with her for 14 years.” An article in The Gloucestershire Echo reported that Helen celebrated her 101st birthday by being treated to a champagne dinner by her friends, some of whom were pupils she taught at her private school fifty years before. Sadly she passed in December of this same year. She had lived for 61 years in the area and had been known as “Margate’s Grand Old Lady.”
