This review contains a Kitty Carnage Warning!
Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: The story of young Albert Einstein (Yahoo Serious), the son of a Tasmanian apple farmer whose inventions and theories are destined to change the world.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): After Albert is thrown into an insane asylum, a cook (Roger Ward) is seen in the kitchen preparing a meal. He gathers up four kittens from a carving board (fortunately the kittens are intact and mewing).
Kitty Carnage Warning! The man places the kittens into a pie tin and then drops a sheet of pie dough on top of them (a little roughly, we may add).
The kittens are sealed into the pie and placed in an oven just as Albert arrives. The cook turns up the heat and the mewing of the kittens rises in intensity and pitch. Albert races forward and pulls the pie from the oven (the crust is already baked). He runs out of the asylum with the other inmates. Eventually he pauses in an alley and removes a portion of the crust, revealing the kittens inside.
Final Mewsings: We hear cat pie tastes terrible, so please don’t try this at home!
Many thanks to Nick Wale for letting us know about the kittens in this film!
