This review contains a Kitty Carnage Warning!
Synopsis: A group of unsuspecting people are tricked into visiting a Deep South town in which a gruesome centennial celebration is about to take place.
Kitty Cameo: During the opening credits, a group of boys run into frame. One of them is holding a black cat.
Kitty Carnage Warning! The boys are all holding nooses and the boy with the cat places his noose around the cat’s neck.
The cat is wearing a sign which reads, “Dam Yankee.” The boy proceeds to strangle the cat with the noose, although this action takes place just off screen.
Final Mewsings: Never visit a town where boys kill cats!
Many thanks to Mark Murton for letting us know about the poor cat in this film.
