Synopsis: Cabaret entertainer Sally Bowles (Liza Minelli) befriends a British linguistics student named Brian Roberts (Michael York) who is newly arrived to pre-World War II Berlin and they share love and laughs as the world changes around them.

Purr Blur: In the boarding house where Sally and Brian live there is a tabby cat seen a few times sleeping in the background and with the landlady.

Final Mewsings: Cats can sleep through anything, even impending war.
