City Pets: Fun and Responsibility (1953)

Synopsis: An educational film shows children about the care of pets living in the city.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): The film focuses on a boy named Jimmy and his little dog Spot. On the way to the park, they pause at a pet store where we see many different animals but no cats. A boy named Mike is buying sand for his kitten’s litter box and the narrator promises we will see the kitten later in the film. Finally we do see Mike coming outside with his kitten as Jimmy and Spot are walking home from the park.
