Synopsis: Charlie Chan (Sidney Toler) boards a treasure hunting ship looking for his number two son but finds murder instead.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After Charlie boards the ship he meets Miss Nodbury (Ethel Griffies), the elderly woman who has arranged the expedition. As they are talking they hear something break nearby. Slowly they turn to look and see a black cat has knocked a vase off a chest. The cat is not seen again, even when the pair walk across the room where the cat was previously sitting.
Final Mewsings: Cats are great at performing disappearing acts.
