Terror-Creatures from the Grave (1965)

by Mark Murton

Original Title: 5 tombe per un medium (5 Graves for a Medium)

Director: Massimo Pupillo

Synopsis: An attorney, Albert Kovac (Walter Brandi), arrives at a castle to settle the estate of its recently deceased owner, Jeronimus Hauff. Hauff’s widow and daughter claim that the late lord could summon the souls of ancient plague victims and that his spirit roams the castle. Soon townspeople begin to die in gruesome, violent ways when the dead lord and plague victims return to exact revenge.

Purr Blur: After another claimed sighting of Jeronimus, Kovac rushes to the room where he was supposedly seen sitting in a rocking chair and spins the chair around only to find a tuxedo cat sitting there. The cat immediately jumps down and runs off with a Poor Cat Screech.
