The Horse’s Mouth (1958)

Synopsis: Cantakerous artist Gulley Jimson (Alec Guiness) ruffles the feathers of those around him as he searches for the perfect wall for his as yet unrealized masterpiece.

Kitty Cameo: In one scene, a dejected Gulley is sitting with his young admirer, Nosey (Mike Morgan), outside a dilapidated church. Nosey hears meowing coming from inside. He gets up and opens the door and a black cat runs out then pauses to sniff at the ground. This leads them to find something inside which could change the course of their fortune.

Final Mewsings: Five minutes later the cat probably wanted to be let back in!
