Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Justin Eagle (voiced by Dale Robertson) is a ranch owner in the old west who doubles as a government agent on the trail of a kidnapped Senator.
Cartoon Cats: As Eagle is riding into a foggy San Francisco, a mama cat is cleaning her kitten.
The shouts of a man and woman fighting somewhere in town causes the mama to pick up her kitten and move it.
Later an orange and white cat is sitting in front of a bait shop.
The cat moves inside where Eagle is questioning the proprietor.
When the man ruins his ship in a bottle by pulling the strings too hard, he yells at Eagle to get out. The cat sits on the windowsill and gives Eagle a nasty look before he leaves.
Finally, a Feed the Kitty tip jar is set up in front of a Chinese singer in a rough bar.
Final Mewsings: Bait shop cats have a real attitude!
Many thanks to Ted Davis for reminding us of the cats in this film.
