Synopsis: A young man from Yorkshire, Chayley Broadbent (John Gregson), inherits a sizeable legacy from his millionaire father and decides to try the nightlife of London. Here he meets Ruthine West (Diana Dors), a performer in a nightclub who intends to take him for all he’s got and he’s quite happy to let her.

Kitty Cameo: Ruthine shares a room with fellow performer Joy (Jill Adams). Arriving home after her first date with Chayley she first gets ready for bed and then goes to the window to bring in a brown and white tabby cat which she sets on the floor before shutting the pane.

After another date with Chayley, Ruthie is again in her room with Joy, this time with the cat sitting on a chair happily doing its ablutions.
