We’ll Smile Again (1943)

by Mark Murton

Directed by: John Baxter

Synopsis: A ring of Nazi spies infiltrate a film studio planning to use it for sending coded messages, but they are foiled by Bob (Bud Flanagan) and George (Chesney Allen), two of the low-level staff members.

Kitty Cameos: After eavesdropping on the spies, Bob finds himself trapped in a tarpaulin suspended from the rafters of the film studio. As he swings back and forth trying to reach George on the gantry, who is trying to pull him to safety, two young cats, a black one and a black one with a white chest, are watching them.
