Original title: La morte cammina con i tacchi alti
Directed by: Luciano Ercoli
Synopsis: French stripper Nicole Rochard (Nieves Navarro) is threatened by a stalker who wants some stolen diamonds he believes are in her possession, so she flees to England with admirer Dr. Robert Matthews (Frank Wolff). But has she run far enough to avoid the killer?
Kitty Cameo: Dr. Matthews and Nicole move to a small village where he has a cottage. They stop into the pub where the cottage’s single-handed (literally!) caretaker, Hallory (Luciano Rossi) is holding a calico cat on the bar as he visits with perky barkeep Peggy (Rachela Pamenti).

The couple are greeted cordially but coupled with the usual small town suspicions. Hallory holds onto the cat until they leave for the cottage and the kitty is not seen again.

Final Mewsings: Pub cats are more welcoming than most locals.
