by Linda Kay
Also Known As: Molding Clay
Directed by: William Katt
Synopsis: Clay Watkins (Sam Huntington) is a troubled youth whose trauma-based rebellion threatens to destroy his chance at any meaningful future. His sheriff grandfather (Barry Corbin) uses reverse psychology to coerce the teen into canoeing down a river not realizing this act will take him into the path of wanted criminals.
Purr Blur: Returning home with his grandfather, Clay is greeted by his mother Sarah (Caroline Goodall) presenting him with a birthday cake. He rudely cuts a slice and walks away, passing a lithe calico cat standing on top of a washing machine.

Moments later the cat jumps down from the machine and approaches Sarah as she stands, crying.
